Listening Therapy training

The path to becoming an expert
Systemic Listening Therapy is the latest stage of development in listening therapy, which was developed by the French ENT specialist Dr. Alfred Tomatis.
This in-depth training is for professionals who want to expand their repertoire.
Teachers, therapists, trainers and alternative practitioners can use this training to integrate Listening Therapy into their professional practice.
The goals of the training

The fundamental aim of Systemic Listening Therapy, according to Dr. A. Tomatis, is to stimulate and optimize a ‘resonant listening readiness’. It is an attitude in the physical and psychological sense in which we are in a state of resonance with our environment and ourselves.
In other words, the awakening of a trust in social interaction through the act of listening to one another. With Systemic Listening Therapy participants learn to actively and specifically stimulate and optimize this willingness to listen.
The implementation of our training

Our Systemic Listening Therapy training is multifaceted and provides the students with all that is needed to learn and acquire pedagogical and therapeutic skills.

Contents of the training

The training is comprised with as many as six topic-specific modules. Depending on your interests and the area in which you wish to use Systemic Listening Therapy, you can complete as many of these as you wish.
The basic courses (modules I-II) are mandatory for all subsequent modules.
The advanced courses (modules III-VI) are aimed at a variety of professions and professional disciplines. The modules can be completed individually with a corresponding qualification.
By completing all four modules of the advanced course, participants will have acquired the basic qualification to competently support children and adults in their respective developmental processes in all areas of Systemic Listening Therapy.
Those who complete all modules will experience the depth and breadth of Systemic Listening Therapy according to Dr. A. Tomatis, both in terms of understanding and application.
