Systemic Listening Therapy training

Systemic Listening Therapy training

Listening Therapy training

Hörtherapie Ausbildung. Der Weg zum Experten

The path to becoming an expert
Systemic Listening Therapy is the latest stage of development in listening therapy, which was developed by the French ENT specialist Dr. Alfred Tomatis.

This in-depth training is for professionals who want to expand their repertoire.

  • The training teaches the basics of hearing as well as listening therapy in the context of various disciplines such as neurology, neuropsychology, pedagogy, psychology, phonology, energy medicine, spirituality, etc.
  • It demonstrates the range of its therapeutic application in the most diverse problem areas.
  • It enables the safe use of listening therapy with clients through personal experience as well as practical exercises.

Teachers, therapists, trainers and alternative practitioners can use this training to integrate Listening Therapy into their professional practice.

The goals of the training

Ziele der Ausbildung

The fundamental aim of Systemic Listening Therapy, according to Dr. A. Tomatis, is to stimulate and optimize a ‘resonant listening readiness’. It is an attitude in the physical and psychological sense in which we are in a state of resonance with our environment and ourselves.

In other words, the awakening of a trust in social interaction through the act of listening to one another. With Systemic Listening Therapy participants learn to actively and specifically stimulate and optimize this willingness to listen.

  • Participants learn the theoretical basics of the physical and psychological structures involved in hearing.
  • Participants learn how the listening therapy equipment works and how to operate it. This include the digital electronic ear and the audiometer.
  • Participants learn how to competently and confidently support children and adults during the listening therapy process.
  • They learn to structure a therapeutic process in which the client’s personality and creative potential can unfold.
  • It is important to understand a therapeutic approach that promotes internal resourcing and supports salutogenesis (how health develops and the processes behind it.)
  • Participants experience the benefits of listening therapy personally, through their own listening therapy journey.
  • In the basic course, participants acquire the necessary skills to work competently in a listening therapy facility.
  • In the advanced course, participants acquire the qualifications to work with listening therapy independently.

The implementation of our training

Durchführung unser Ausbildung zur Systemischen Hörtherapie

Our Systemic Listening Therapy training is multifaceted and provides the students with all that is needed to learn and acquire pedagogical and therapeutic skills.

  • E-learning is primarily a multimedia tool for acquiring knowledge.
  • Personal experience makes theoretical knowledge tangible in one’s own life.
  • The practical seminars help with linking the social and theoretical aspects of what has been learned and experienced.
  • The term paper, based on a client case study, is presented to the study group, to demonstrate one’s knowledge and understanding of the material.
  • The supervision sessions provide support in carrying out systemic listening therapy with one’s own clients.
  • The monthly video chat “AI-Live” provides a forum to stay connected and discuss current issues.
